Bakker Construction is jointed owned by husband and wife, Shawn and Amanda Bakker. Shawn is a fourth generation contractor and has lived in Monterey County for the past eight years. Shawn and Amanda are the visionaries of Tatum’s garden, the first fully inclusive handicapped playground in Monterey County. They were recent honored with a Jefferson Award, and went to the National Jefferson Award ceremony in Washington DC.

Bakker Construction was formed in 2008, but was officially incorporated in 2010.
